A very nice, comprehensive, and detailed book on graph theory.

Burcham, W.E.; Jobes, M (). Nuclear and Particle Physics. Pearson Education. Eastbourne. ISBN 0-582-45088-8 (Paperback) (English) (752 pages)
Could probably be more clear at some points during the development of the theory.

This is a rigorous and pleasant text on differentiable manifolds.
Darling, R.W.R. (). Differential Forms and Connections. Cambridge University Press. United States of America (2009). ISBN 978-0-521-46800-8 (Paperback) (English) (250 pages)
This is an accessible text on exterior algebra and differential forms. It might be seen as somewhat "too" formal at times, though.
D'Inverno, Ray (). Introducing Einstein's Relativity. Oxford University Press. United Kingdom. ISBN 978-0-19-859686-8 (Paperback) (English) (383 pages)
A rather decent introduction to general relativity, but the introduction given to differential geometry and tensor calculus is pretty useless. If you don't know any of the mathematical background, you might want to read e.g. the first half of Frankel prior to d'Inverno.

This is a (the?) bible of (introductory, but rather far-reaching) mathematical physics. Know all this, and you know most of it! Beware, however, that it is a tough endeavour to read the entire book as self-study.
Freedman, Roger A.; Kaufmann III, William J. (). Universe (Eighth Edition). W. H. Freeman and Company. United States of America (2007). ISBN 978-0-7167-8584-2 (Paperback) (English) (759 pages)

Original title: Analyse de Fourier et applications: Filtrage, Calcul numérique, Ondelettes; Fourier et applications: Exercices corrigés
This is a very pleasant read. The text is conveniently organised in 42 small lessons. This is a rigorous and careful treatment of Fourier analysis.
Gurtin, Morton E. (). An Introduction to Continuum Mechanics. Academic Press, Mathematics in Science and Engineering (Vol 158) (158). United Kingdom (≈2009). ISBN 978-0-12-309750-7 (English) (266 pages)
A very elegant and clear text. An excellent introduction to continuum mechanics.
Hall, John E. (). Guyton and Hall Textbook of Medical Physiology (Twelfth Edition). Saunders Elsevier. United States of America. ISBN 978-1-4160-4574-8 (Hardcover) (English) (1100 pages)
A great and comprehensive text on physiology. Compared to Sand et al., this text is generally more detailed and covers more topics. However, if you read the book the way books are supposed to be read (that is, from the very first to the very last page, with no major breaks in between), you'll notice that some concepts are introduced repeatedly. In addition, whereas you learn some basic anatomy from Sand et al., in Guyton & Hall you are assumed to know basic anatomy. [Disclaimer: This text contains numerous references to animal experiments, often very extensive experiments, in a variety of mammals, such as dogs, rats, and primates. Although I appreciate the vast scientific gain from such experiments, I generally do not approve of them.]
Heald, Mark A.; Marion, Jerry B. (). Classical Electromagnetic Radiation (Third Edition). Thomson Learning. United States of America. ISBN 0-03-097277-9 (Hardcover) (English) (572 pages)
Could probably be more clear at some points in the development of the theory.

Kittel, Charles (). Introduction to Solid State Physics (Eighth Edition). John Wiley & Sons, Inc.. United States of America. ISBN 978-0-471-41526-8 (Hardcover) (English) (680 pages)
Not a very clear text; some parts are very difficult to follow, because the author 'forgets' to explain the concepts used.

A pretty nice read.
Panton, Ronald L. (). Incompressible Flow (Third Edition). Wiley. United States of America. ISBN 978-0-471-26122-3 (Hardcover) (English) (821 pages)
Goodish. This is clearly not a book written by a mathematician, nor is is written for mathematicians. Lack of rigor and elegance is examplified by misuse of mathematical symbols, concepts, and logically invalid wording. Furthermore, the text lacks a distinct direction and has quite a few misprints in it. Despite these shortcomings, the text contains numerous interesting examples and covers a vast number of topics in fluid mechanics.

Sand, Olav; Sjaastad, Øystein V.; Haug, Egil (). Människans fysiologi. Liber. Finland (2009). ISBN 978-91-47-05195-3 (Hardcover) (Swedish) (600 pages) Translated from Norwegian by Bolinder-Palmér, Inger; Grönwall, Karin; Olsson, Kristina. Original title: Menneskets fysiologi
Generally an excellent book. A very easy-to-read and clear introduction to human physiology. Perhaps some parts could be exanded slightly. A small number of misprints do not affect the overall reading experience. [And, yes, of course I found pages 562-565 rather disturbing.]

This is a great and concise introduction to differential forms and the modern formulation of Stokes' theorem, written by no other than Michael Spivak. A highly accessible text that is a great complement to Frankel.

Synge, J.L.; Schild, A. (). Tensor Calculus. Dover Publications. United States of America. ISBN 978-0-486-63612-2 (Paperback) (English) (324 pages)
Differential geometry and tensor calculus in a purely classical language. Although it is a nice read, I do prefer the modern setting of this subject, and a coordinate-free approach to tensors.
